From the “click-bait” playbook, a story on Vox claims that “60+ studies” suggest exercise doesn’t lead to weight loss. Read a little bit further down and you’ll see that this exhaustive study concludes that *only doing exercise* isn’t the secret to weight loss.
Because there isn’t a secret.
If losing weight is your goal, the only way to achieve it is by burning more calories than you’re putting in. The best way to do this is to start eating better, and probably less, and exercising more. Your body won’t burn reserve fat (that extra weight you’re carrying) until it has to, so give it fewer calories to start the process.
